-- Pls mark your calendar for the Waggner Ranch POA Annual Meeting. The meeting will be held at the GVTC Auditorium on Wednesday, September 15 at 7:00PM. Expect this one hour meeting to focus upon the next year's officer slate and concerns/update for how we move forward in the next year+.
--Your WRPOA Board met on 28 August to discuss on-going projects. Expect an update at the Annual Meeting on 15 September.
--Welcome to new residents. Waggner Ranch continues to enjoy steady growth with respect to sales of lots and the construction of new homes. Please pass a "howdy" to our new neighbors when you see a new face. If you have some ideas of programs or materials to welcome our new folks...don't keep it a secret
--First Friday(s): The First Friday get-to-gethers continue to be a great success. This informal gathering of WR neighbors is held on the "first Friday" of each month. Typical start time is 6:00PM and is BYOB and snacks to share. We will not hold an event in September due to Labor Day Weekend. But, watch the mail shelter bulletin board for location for the October FF. Thanks to those who have held the most recent events. It was a fun time.
--Thanks to all who keep the front entrance of Waggener Ranch looking sharp..even during these hot summer months. The gate, appearance, plants, and general look always brings a soothing look, after a full day.

As a result of a number of incidents of dogs chasing and sometimes attacking our exotic wildlife, it is apparent not everyone is adhering to the WR CC&Rs regarding pets.

Fisherman’s Corner
Welcome to fisherman's corner!

Our pond is at full capacity. There have been reports of increasing numbers of largemouth bass being caught.  Since last summer the bass have increased in size with reports of 2,3 and even 5lb bass. The POA board has recently agreed to fund the removal of the algae and weeds in the pond. The board is also considering a windmill generated oxygen supply for the pond to help maintain fish population and control weed growth. Let’s go fishin!
